Don’t wait too long to clean your wedding dress or it will be difficult to clean it later, as stubborn stains will become permanent and irremovable. Send your dress to a specialized wedding dresses cleaner, make sure to try the chemical solution on the embroidery, and clean the invisible stains that may appear later.

Preparing the wedding dress for storage

Make sure your wedding dress is in top condition before storing it so it’s ready to be worn again. Check the dress for holes, tears, or any kind of damage.
After taking it to the dry cleaner, hang the dress for two days before storing it.

Place the dress inside a special box

Make sure to keep the dress folded in a special large box or a case that is acid-free to protect it from sunlight and air. Be careful not to leave it in the plastic bag that you bought it in because the plastic bag contains chemicals in it which can damage the colour of the dress over time.
